Steve and I have the privilege of attending the UN Commission on Women in NYC on March 10th – 14th. Just getting registered has been an interesting process, can’t wait to see what it’s like once on the ground. Excited.
I’m excited to listen, learn and think.
Steve and Shawn Small’s film, Ru Water is Life, will be shown on Monday. Then we will attend the following lectures.
Role of Religious Leaders in Accelerating the Achievement for Women and Girls
Gender Equality the AHA Moment
Linking HIV Gender Equality
In Our Right Minds
Screening The Suffrage Movement in The Bahamas
Promoting Gender Equality
Engaging Men and Boys in the Gender
20 Years of the Special Rapp on Violence to Women
Please pray for us.
Pray we hear, learn and act on what God reveals. Pray for connections with those who have similar passions and work. Pray Steve’s film has impact for the betterment of those in South Sudan. Pray for The Marcella Project, that we would know how this event ties into our work in ennobling women here and abroad.
And pray for fun! After all, it is NYC!
